berry-plum with micropearlescence for super shiny-glittery lips!
This was my third fave of the dazzleglasses released in 2008 by MAC Cosmetics. My other two faves were Love Alert (hot pink) and Glamour OD (coral). DATE NIGHT is a plum-colored dazzleglass, which means it's a gloss with actual glitter in it. The color of the glitter varies from dazzleglass to dazzleglass. Some have red or pink or blue or gold or a combination. DATE NIGHT has blue and gold glitter. If you hate fine glitter in your gloss, this is NOT for you. The MAC site calls it "soft blue-purple with pearl."

I love em. So sparkly. They brighten the face and make the lips look plumper as a result of the reflectiveness and liquidiness.

NOTE:MAC Cosmetics stores and counters (such as at Nordstrom) have reissued this color of dazzleglass in the Double Dazzle collection as of April 9. LOVE ALERT will also come back. (Sadly, not the beautiful Glamour OD. Bummer.) Date Night will be part of MAC's permanent dazzleglass collection. Price:[..] for a very small amount. (The tube is deceivingly generous. It's not. It's about a third or less of what's in a regular lipglass tube.)
